Bargemusic

Founded in 1977, Bargemusic is the only floating concert hall in the world.  Called "one of our city's greatest cultural institutions" by mayoral proclamation, Bargemusic presents 220 chamber music concerts annually, including jazz, and offers free tickets to a variety of groups every week, plus a monthly free concert open to the community.  

NEW: Music in MOTION Every Day on the Barge
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 1 pm Bargemusic presents neighborhood family afternoon concerts.  Adults $10, Children of all ages FREE. The performances are one hour with no intermission (including a question and answer session with the musicians). The programs will be announced from the stage.
