Brooklyn Bridge Plaza
Located beneath the majestic span of the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge Plaza is a flexible paved space that forms the knuckle between the portions of the park north of the Brooklyn Bridge and those to the south on the repurposed piers. Here the shoreline curves dramatically, enhancing views to the East River and Lower Manhattan.
Currently, this space is closed. It will be reconstructed with additional amenities in keeping with the overall Brooklyn Bridge Park design. Future seasonal programming might include a seasonal ice rink, a farmer's market, festivals and art installations.
