Green Roofs

Several structures within the park will feature green roofs, including both of the park gatehouses as well as maintenance buildings to be built or refurbished as the park segments are constructed. Green roofs absorb rainwater, provide building insulation, create habitat for wildlife and help to lower urban air temperatures.
