Education

All of Brooklyn Bridge Park is an outdoor classroom and a magnet for inquisitive minds of all ages.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has been offering well-regarded hands-on educational programs (K-12) for nearly 10 years to public schools and summer camp providers on the natural environment, ecology, local bird and plant life of Brooklyn Bridge Park, the East River and Hudson River Park estuary. With the opening of new parkland at Piers 1 and 6, the Conservancy’s programs have expanded to incorporate the new features in their educational offerings, including the geology, tree specimens and re-used salvaged materials found in the park.
