Celebrating the Culturesof BROOKLYN, INDIA, RUSSIA, and HAITI.  Four weeks of free live performances representing communities from throughout New York City and cultures from around the world through music, storytelling and dance by some of New York City's hottest performers.

4:30pm - Gowanus Wildcats Drill Team: dance
5:15pm - Michael Powers Frequency: music

Saturday, July 17: INDIA
4:00pm - Pooja Makhijani: storytelling
4:30pm - Dhoonya Dance: Bollywood dance
5:00pm - Suphala: Tabla music

Saturday, July 24: RUSSIA
4:00pm - Mikhail Smirnov [Barynya]: storytelling
4:30pm - Brighton Ballet Theater Company: dance
5:00pm - Ljova and the Kontraband: music

Saturday, July 31: HAITI
4:00pm - Jennifer Celestin [Haiti Cultural Exchange]: spoken word/storytelling
Jennifer has performed poetry and spoken word throughout NYC. The Haiti Cultural Exchange promotes cultural expressions of Haitian people.
4:30pm - Peniel Guerrier Dance Company: dance
Peniel Guerrier spent eight years with the National Dance Theatre of Haiti.  His dream is to represent Haitian culture worldwide.
5:00pm - Buyu Ambroise and the Blues in Red Band: music
Buyu has performed in NYC for more than 20 years. His melodies are inspired from Afro-Haitian music sustained with modern jazz harmonies.

In the event of heavy rain the program will be held in the Tobacco Warehouse.
