Get out on the water for kayaking with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse! Please note that there will be only kayaking on Pier 1; Main Street dates include community rowing.
No need to sign up in advance; kayaking is on a first-come, first-served basis. No training or prior experience is needed. Bring clothes you don't mind getting wet, and shoes or sandals suitable for walking on a rocky launch. The only requirement is that you know how to swim. All equipment is provided free. Kayaking is limited to the protected area between Piers 1 and 2. Children under 18 must have an adult guardian present. Please note that there will be some variation in times due to tide conditions.
